Ingredients

  • 1 cup cranberries
  • 1/2 cup champagne
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine cranberries, champagne, sugar, orange juice, orange zest, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.

  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes, until cranberries burst and sauce thickens.

  3. Remove from heat and let cool before serving.

  4. Serve as a sauce for roasted poultry, spread on sandwiches, or as a topping for desserts.
