How To Make Plum Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
- 4 plums, pitted and chopped
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon minced ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions

In a saucepan, combine the plums, brown sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, red pepper flakes, and water.

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20-25 minutes until the plums are soft and the sauce has thickened.

Using an immersion blender or a regular blender, blend the sauce until smooth.

Return the sauce to the saucepan and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and let cool before using.
