Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup coconut flakes
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup almond butter or peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Extra coconut flakes for rolling (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, blend the rolled oats until they form a fine flour-like consistency.

  2. Add the coconut flakes, cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, almond butter or peanut butter, and vanilla extract to the food processor.

  3. Blend until the mixture is well combined and forms a sticky dough.

  4. Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the dough and roll them into balls.

  5. If desired, roll the balls in extra coconut flakes for an added touch.

  6. Place the balls on a plate or baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow them to firm up.

  7. Serve and enjoy!
