How To Make Walnut Torte Recipe

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup ground walnuts
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, ground walnuts, baking powder and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk egg yolks and oil until well combined.

Gradually stir in the dry ingredients into the egg yolk mixture until smooth.

Beat egg whites with a mixer until stiff peaks form, then fold into the batter a little at a time.

Pour batter into a greased and floured 8 inch cake pan and bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Remove from oven and let cool.
