How To Make Strawberry Torte Recipe
This light and fruity dessert features layers of sponge cake, whipped cream, and juicy strawberries.

Ingredients
- 1 sponge cake (8 inch)
- 2 cups of strawberries, hulled and thinly sliced
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 2 tbsp of powdered sugar
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Cut sponge cake into 2 even layers.

Place bottom layer onto a 9 inch cake tin.

Layer sliced strawberries over the cake layer.

In a bowl, beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.

Spread whipped cream over the strawberries.

Cover with the remaining cake layer and press down gently.
