How To Make The Ritz-Carlton’s Seafood Paella Recipe
A savory and aromatic Spanish dish packed with seafood, rice, and spices.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp saffron threads
- 2 cups of short-grain rice
- 4 cups of chicken broth
- 1 lb mixed seafood (clams, shrimp, mussels, calamari)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a paella pan over medium-high heat.

Add onion and garlic and sauté until softened.

Add sliced bell peppers, smoked paprika, and saffron threads and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add rice and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.

Lower heat to a simmer and cook for 15-20 minutes.

Add seafood and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes until seafood is cooked through.
