How To Make Pasta House Lasagna Recipe
Layers of pasta, cheese, and meat in a rich tomato sauce.

Ingredients
- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions and set aside.

In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook until onion is translucent.

Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine and let the mixture simmer for 10-15 minutes.

In a separate bowl, mix together ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese.

In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of the meat mixture, followed by a layer of cooked lasagna noodles. Spread half of the cheese mixture on top of the noodles. Repeat this process, ending with a layer of meat mixture on top.

Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the lasagna.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes.

Let the lasagna cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
