Ingredients

  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 1 can (10.5 oz.) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: sliced green onions and additional cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. In a 9×13 inch baking dish, combine uncooked rice, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, shredded chicken, shredded cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  3. Stir until well combined.

  4. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 45 minutes.

  5. Remove foil, sprinkle additional cheese on top if desired, and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

  6. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions if desired.
