How To Make Fannie May Peanut Butter Cups Recipe

Delicious homemade peanut butter cups inspired by the classic Fannie May candy.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Line a muffin tin with paper liners.

  2. In a bowl, mix together the peanut butter, melted butter, salt, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

  3. Fill each muffin liner about 1/3 full with the peanut butter mixture.

  4. In a separate bowl, melt the chocolate chips and vegetable oil together in the microwave or over a double boiler.

  5. Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter mixture, filling each liner to the top.

  6. Let the peanut butter cups cool to room temperature, then chill in the fridge until set.
