Ingredients

  • 8 oz Fannie May chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Cocoa powder or chopped nuts, for coating

Instructions

  1. Place the chopped Fannie May chocolate in a heat-proof bowl and set aside.

  2. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream, unsalted butter, and salt until simmering.

  3. Pour the hot cream mixture over the chopped chocolate and let sit for 2 minutes.

  4. Stir the mixture until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth.

  5. Cover and chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, until it is firm.

  6. Scoop the mixture into small balls and roll them in cocoa powder or chopped nuts to coat.

  7. Serve chilled.
