How To Make Chi-Chi’s Taco Salad Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 tbsp. chili powder
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • ½ tsp. cumin
  • Salt and pepper
  • 4 cups lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup corn, cooked
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup tortilla chips, crushed
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, breaking up with a spoon. Drain excess fat.

  2. Add chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook for 2-3 minutes.

  3. In a large bowl, combine cooked beef, lettuce, tomatoes, corn, black beans, cheese, and tortilla chips.

  4. Serve with salsa and sour cream on top.
