Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.

  2. Melt the butter and dark chocolate chips in a double boiler or microwave, stirring until smooth.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.

  4. Gradually fold the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture until well combined.

  5. Sift in the flour and salt, and fold until just incorporated.

  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth out the surface.

  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  8. Let the brownies cool in the pan for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
