How To Make Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels
These rich and indulgent caramels are covered in dark chocolate and finished with a sprinkle of sea salt.

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 4 oz dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 tsp sea salt for garnish
Instructions

Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.

In a medium saucepan, heat sugar over medium-high heat until melted and amber in color.

Carefully stir in heavy cream, corn syrup, and butter. Cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until mixture reaches 250°F on a candy thermometer.

Remove from heat and stir in sea salt. Pour caramel mixture into prepared pan and let cool for 15 minutes.

Melt dark chocolate in a microwave or double boiler. Pour over cooled caramel and spread evenly.

Sprinkle remaining sea salt over chocolate. Allow to cool completely before slicing into small squares.
