  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp white sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

  2. In a separate bowl, beat egg and melt butter and add them to the flour mixture.

  3. Gradually stir in milk, until smooth.

  4. Fold in chocolate chips.

  5. Heat up a skillet over medium heat. Scoop 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.

  6. Cook until golden brown on each side.

  7. Serve warm with maple syrup or whipped cream.
