How To Make Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Fluffy and delicious pancakes with gooey chocolate chips mixed in.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter.

  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.

  5. Heat a lightly greased griddle or skillet over medium heat.

  6. Scoop 1/4 cup portions of batter onto the griddle and spread slightly with the back of a spoon.

  7. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

  8. Serve with maple syrup and additional chocolate chips, if desired.
