  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Fresh herbs for garnish


  1. In a slow cooker, combine the chicken broth, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, paprika, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.

  2. Add the chicken drumsticks to the slow cooker, coating them well with the sauce.

  3. Cook on low heat for 4 hours or until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.

  4. Once cooked, remove the drumsticks from the slow cooker and place them on a baking sheet.

  5. Preheat the oven to broil and broil the chicken drumsticks for 5 minutes to achieve a crispy skin.

  6. Serve the slow-cooked chicken drumsticks hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
