How To Make Fried Chicken with Pineapple Hot Sauce Recipe

- 4 chicken drumsticks
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- For the Pineapple Hot Sauce:
- 1 cup diced pineapple
- 1/4 cup hot sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions

In a large bowl, mix together the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

Coat each chicken drumstick in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or deep-fryer to 350°F (175°C).

Carefully place the coated chicken drumsticks into the hot oil and fry for about 12-15 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.

Remove the chicken from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

In a small saucepan, combine the diced pineapple, hot sauce, honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and garlic powder. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Transfer the fried chicken drumsticks to a serving plate and drizzle the pineapple hot sauce over them.
