  • 500g beef steak, thinly sliced
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 medium beetroots, roasted and diced
  • 100g rocket leaves


  1. In a bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  2. Place the beef slices into the marinade and let it sit for 10 minutes.

  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your liking.

  4. Remove the beef from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.

  5. Serve the beef slices over a bed of roasted beetroot and rocket leaves.

  6. Drizzle any remaining marinade over the dish.

  7. Enjoy!
