
How To Make Rice Krispies Caramel Popcorn
Combine two favorite snacks into one delicious and addictive treat with this caramel popcorn recipe that’s made more fun with the addition of rice krispies.

Ingredients
- 1cupbrown sugar,packed
- ¼cupgolden corn syrup
- ¼cupbutter or margarine
- ¼tspsalt
- ¼tspbaking soda
- 5cupslow-fat microwave popcorn,popped
- 1cuphoney peanuts,or other nuts, dry-roasted
- 1½cupsKellogg’s * Rice Krispies * Vanilla Flavour cereal,(175 ml), finely crushed
Instructions

Combine sugar, corn syrup, butter, and salt in large saucepan or Dutch oven. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Cook 4 minutes, stirring frequently.

Remove from heat; stir in baking soda. Stir in popcorn and peanuts. Work quickly to coat well.

Immediately sprinkle crushed cereal over mixture. Work quickly to coat well. Spread, using rubber spatula or 2 forks, on baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper.

Let cool. Break into chunks. Store in heavy plastic bag or covered container.
