How To Make Manchego Cheese Triangles with Quince Preserve

Ingredients

  • 12 slices of Manchego cheese
  • 8 sheets of phyllo pastry
  • 1/2 cup quince preserve
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Lay one sheet of phyllo pastry on a clean surface and brush it lightly with melted butter.

  3. Place another sheet of phyllo pastry on top and brush with melted butter again. Repeat this process until you have 4 layers of phyllo pastry.

  4. Cut the layered phyllo pastry into 12 equal squares.

  5. Place a slice of Manchego cheese on each square and fold it into a triangle shape, pressing the edges to seal.

  6. Brush the triangles with melted butter and place them on a baking sheet.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes or until golden and crispy.

  8. Serve the Manchego cheese triangles with a dollop of quince preserve on top.
