How To Make Rabbit Curry Recipe
A flavorful and spicy dish made with tender rabbit meat in a rich tomato-based gravy.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs rabbit meat, cut into pieces
- 2 onions, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 cups water
- Fresh cilantro, chopped for garnish
Instructions

Heat oil in a deep pan on medium flame. Add onions and sauté until they turn translucent. Add garlic and ginger. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add rabbit meat and cook until the meat turns brown on all sides.

Add chopped tomatoes, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix everything well and cook for 5-8 minutes.

Add 2 cups of water and bring the curry to a boil. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 1 hour, until the rabbit meat is tender.

Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan bread.
