  • 2 red chillies, finely chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, combine the tomatoes, chillies, onion, garlic, sugar, vinegar, and salt.

  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer.

  3. Cook for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the jam has thickened and the tomatoes have broken down.

  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

  5. Transfer the jam to sterilized jars and seal tightly.

  6. Allow the jam to cool completely before refrigerating.

  7. Serve with cheese, crackers, or as a spread on sandwiches.
