How To Make Cheat’s Chilli Prawn Noodles

Ingredients

  • 300g prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 250g egg noodles
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 red chilli, sliced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 spring onions, sliced
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, sliced red chilli, and grated ginger. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. Add the prawns to the wok and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and are cooked through.

  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sweet chilli sauce, and sesame oil. Pour this sauce over the prawns and stir to coat everything evenly.

  5. Add the cooked egg noodles to the wok and toss them with the prawns and sauce until everything is well combined. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the noodles are heated through.

  6. Garnish with sliced spring onions and fresh cilantro. Serve hot.
