How To Make Sweet Chilli Jam

A delicious and spicy jam with a perfect balance of sweetness and heat.

Ingredients

  • 500g red bell peppers, deseeded and chopped
  • 3-4 red chillies, deseeded and chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 200g granulated sugar
  • 100ml white vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a blender, process the red bell peppers, red chillies, and garlic until finely chopped.

  2. In a saucepan, combine the pepper mixture, sugar, vinegar, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.

  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, or until the mixture thickens and reaches a jam-like consistency.

  4. Remove from heat and let cool. Pour into sterilized jars and refrigerate.
