  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp bourbon or rum (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp orange zest

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, and sugar. Cook over medium heat until cranberries burst and mixture thickens, about 10 minutes.

  2. Remove from heat and stir in bourbon or rum (if using) and orange zest.

  3. Let the sauce cool before serving. It will thicken as it cools.
