How To Make Smoked Sausage and Kale Soup Recipe

Hearty and nutritious soup with smoky sausage and leafy kale.

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cans white beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 bunch kale, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened.

  2. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned.

  3. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.

  4. Reduce heat and add white beans and kale. Simmer for 20 minutes.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
