Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs pork tenderloin
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Season the pork tenderloin with salt and pepper.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, ground ginger, and chili flakes.

  4. Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and sear the pork tenderloin on all sides until golden brown.

  5. Pour the honey soy mixture over the pork, and add water to the skillet.

  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for about 45 minutes, or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

  7. Baste the pork with the pan juices every 15 minutes while it cooks.

  8. Once cooked, remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

  9. Sprinkle chopped green onions over the sliced pork for garnish.

  10. Serve the pot-roasted spiced honey soy pork with steamed rice and your favorite vegetables.
