Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon five spice powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Green onions, chopped for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, ginger, garlic, five spice powder, and black pepper.

  2. Place the pork chops in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Remove the pork chops from the marinade, shaking off any excess, and place them in the skillet.

  4. Cook the pork chops for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

  5. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.

  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

  7. Serve the Chinese Pork Chops with steamed rice and your favorite vegetables.
