How To Make Ground Turkey Meatballs Recipe

Classic Italian-style meatballs made healthier with ground turkey and baked in the oven.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, Parmesan cheese, and parsley. Mix well.

  3. Use a tablespoon or cookie scoop to portion out meat mixture and form into 1-inch balls.

  4. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.

  5. Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 15-18 minutes or until meatballs reach an internal temperature of 165°F.

  6. Serve hot with your favorite sauce and pasta or mashed potatoes.
