Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 8 taco shells
  • Toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.

  3. Drain any excess grease from the skillet.

  4. Add the chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Stir well to coat the beef with the spices.

  5. Stir in the tomato sauce and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  6. Warm the taco shells according to the package instructions.

  7. Fill the taco shells with the beef mixture and top with your desired toppings.

  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
