Ingredients
- 1 lb sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup chopped onions
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

In a large pot over medium heat, melt butter and sauté onions and garlic until translucent.

Add mushrooms and continue to cook until they release their moisture.

Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

Stir in heavy whipping cream and continue to simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Puree soup using an immersion blender or transfer soup to a blender and puree until smooth.
