How To Make Crockpot Tomato Soup

Warm and comforting tomato soup made in a slow cooker, perfect for cold nights.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of crushed tomatoes (28 oz each)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 cups of vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp of dried basil
  • 1 tsp of dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Add crushed tomatoes, onion, garlic, vegetable broth, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper to the slow cooker.

  2. Cook on low for 4 hours.

  3. Use an immersion blender to blend the soup until smooth.

  4. Stir in heavy cream and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
