  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.

  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.

  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  5. Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 5 minutes.

  6. Stir in the heavy cream and dried thyme. Add the chicken breasts back to the skillet.

  7. Cover the skillet and let the chicken cook in the sauce for 10-15 minutes, or until cooked through and no longer pink in the center.

  8. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.

  9. Meanwhile, increase the heat to medium-high and let the sauce simmer and thicken for about 5 minutes.

  10. Serve the chicken breasts with the creamy sauce, garnished with fresh parsley.
