Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
-
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
-
In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until browned. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
-
In the same skillet, add the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes, until fragrant.
-
Pour in the chicken broth and stir, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Bring to a simmer.
-
Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, nestling them in the broth. Cover the skillet and transfer to the preheated oven.
-
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender. Remove the skillet from the oven.
-
Carefully transfer the chicken breasts to a serving platter and keep warm.
-
Place the skillet back on the stove over medium heat. Stir in the sour cream and cook for 2-3 minutes, until heated through.
-
Serve the chicken with the sour cream sauce, garnished with fresh parsley.
