How To Make Cold Papaya Soup

This deliciously creamy Cold Papaya Soup is easy to make, and needs only 4 ingredients to complete, it’s the perfect appetizer for a meal.

  • 1medium ripe papaya
  • sugar,to taste
  • 2tbspfresh lime juice
  • water or unsweetened apple juice


  1. Peel and seed the papaya; cut into chunks

  2. Reserve the seeds in the refrigerator

  3. In a blender or food processor, puree the papaya until very smooth

  4. Pour into a bowl, and add sugar to taste

  5. Stir in the lime juice

  6. If the mixture is too thick, add water or apple juice, 1 teaspoonful at a time

  7. This soup is supposed to be very thick

  8. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours

  9. Serve in chilled fruit cups with a small spoonful of the reserved seeds in the center
