How To Make Baked Pumpkin with Cream & Onions

Ingredients
- 1 medium pumpkin, halved and seeds removed
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: grated Parmesan cheese for topping
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Place the pumpkin halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.

In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and minced garlic and sauté until softened.

Remove from heat and stir in the heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper.

Spoon the cream mixture evenly over the pumpkin halves.

Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the pumpkin is tender and the cream is bubbly and golden.

Optional: Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the pumpkin during the last 5 minutes of baking.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
