  • 1 pound fresh crab meat
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Tartar sauce, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, beaten egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, green onions, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. Shape the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.

  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the crab cakes for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.

  4. Serve the crab cakes hot with tartar sauce.
