Ingredients

  • 4 white fish fillets
  • 3 tbsp harissa paste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup cooked lentils
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a small bowl, mix the harissa paste and breadcrumbs together.

  3. Season the fish fillets with salt and pepper, then coat them evenly with the harissa-crumb mixture.

  4. Place the coated fish fillets on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until crispy and cooked through.

  5. While the fish is baking, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

  6. Add the sliced onions, minced garlic, and sliced bell peppers to the pan. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, until the vegetables are tender.

  7. Add the cooked lentils to the pan and season with salt and pepper. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  8. Serve the crispy harissa-crumb fish fillets over a bed of lentils and peppers. Garnish with fresh cilantro. Enjoy!
