Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.

  2. Add the warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a rough dough forms.

  3. Transfer the dough onto a clean, floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  11. Remove from the oven and let the pizza or calzone cool for a few minutes before serving.
