How To Make Perfect Every Time Pizza or Calzone Dough

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil

In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.

Add the warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a rough dough forms.

Transfer the dough onto a clean, floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

After the dough has risen, preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

Punch down the dough and divide it into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball and let rest for 5 minutes.
