How To Make Calzone with Greens

Ingredients
- 1 pound pizza dough
- 2 cups mixed greens (spinach, kale, arugula)
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Olive oil, for brushing
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Roll out the pizza dough into a large circle or rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.

In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, basil, garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Spoon the filling onto one half of the rolled-out dough, leaving a border around the edges.

Fold the other half of the dough over the filling and press the edges together to seal.

Brush the calzone with olive oil and make small slits on the top to allow steam to escape.

Transfer the calzone to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 25 minutes or until the calzone is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
