How To Make Chicken Bacon Ranch Sloppy Joes

Make your sloppy joes extra creamy and cheesy. A mix of chicken and bacon with mozzarella ranch sauce and melted cheddar, this recipe is a win.

Ingredients

  • ½lbBacon
  • 1lbground chicken
  • ½yellow onionchopped
  • 1packetranch
  • cupswhole milk(or 2%)
  • 1tbspcornstarch
  • 1cupmozzarellashredded
  • 1cupcheddar cheesechopped

Instructions

  1. Heat a large cast iron skillet on medium high heat.

  2. Cook the bacon until crisp then remove the bacon to cool and drain all but two tablespoons of fat.

  3. Add the chicken and onion and cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until cooked through.

  4. Whisk the ranch packet, milk and cornstarch together and add it to the pan, cooking for about 3 to 4 minutes until slightly thickened and bubbling.

  5. Add in the shredded mozzarella and stir to combine, chop the bacon and sprinkle it, together with the cheddar cheese, on the mixture just before serving.
