How To Make Anise and Ricotta Stuffed Shells Recipe
A savory yet slightly sweet dish filled with anise and ricotta cheese, stuffed into jumbo pasta shells and baked to gooey perfection.

Ingredients
- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp anise extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Cook the pasta shells according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.

In a medium bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, anise extract, salt, and black pepper.

Stuff each pasta shell with the ricotta mixture and place them in a 9×13 inch baking dish.

Pour the marinara sauce over the stuffed shells.

Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
