How To Make Vegetarian Sweet Potato Casserole
Warm and comforting dish that blends the sweetness of sweet potatoes with warm spices and crunchy pecans.

Ingredients
- 4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- Salt, to taste
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- Cooking spray
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a large pot, boil sweet potatoes until tender, about 10-15 minutes.

Drain sweet potatoes and mash them in a large bowl.

Add melted butter, brown sugar, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt. Mix well.

Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish.

Add chopped pecans on top and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
