A delicious and healthy vegetarian dish with sweet potatoes, nuts, and spices cooked in a crockpot.

  • 3 large sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt


  1. Layer sweet potato slices on the bottom of the crockpot.

  2. Mix together pecans, dried cranberries, maple syrup, melted butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a small bowl.

  3. Sprinkle half of the mixture over the sweet potatoes.

  4. Add another layer of sweet potatoes and sprinkle with the remaining mixture.

  5. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until sweet potatoes are tender.
