How To Make Twisted Spiced Bread with Honey & Tahini Butter

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.

In a separate bowl, mix the honey, warm water, and melted butter.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and knead until a smooth dough forms.

Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

Punch down the dough and divide it into 4 equal portions.

Roll each portion into a long rope and twist them together to form a braided bread.

Place the twisted bread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.

While the bread is baking, prepare the honey & tahini butter by mixing the tahini and powdered sugar in a bowl until well combined.

Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool slightly.

Serve the twisted spiced bread warm with the honey & tahini butter.
