  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin, paprika, and cayenne pepper.

  2. Process until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.

  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl and garnish with fresh parsley.
