Ingredients

  • 8 oz tempeh, sliced into strips
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, maple syrup, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Add tempeh strips and marinate for 10 minutes.

  2. Heat a pan over medium heat and add marinated tempeh along with the marinade. Cook for 5-7 minutes, until tempeh is browned and crispy.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix together peanut butter, lime juice, soy sauce, maple syrup, and red pepper flakes to make the peanut dip.

  4. Serve the cooked tempeh with the peanut dip and garnish with chopped green onions.
