How To Make Cherry Bruschetta

Ingredients
- 1 French baguette
- 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and halved
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick diagonal slices.

Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.

Toast the bread in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes, or until crispy and golden.

In a bowl, combine the cherry halves, sliced basil, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Toss well to combine.

Once the bruschetta toasts are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a minute or two.

Top each toast with a spoonful of the cherry mixture, spreading it out evenly.

Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the cherry bruschetta.
