Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup of vegan butter
  • 1/2 cup of almond milk
  • 1/4 cup of maple syrup
  • 2 tsp of baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp of baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of sliced fresh strawberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425F.

  2. In a mixing bowl, mix the dry ingredients together.

  3. Add the vegan butter and mix until mixture becomes crumbly.

  4. Add in the almond milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

  5. Fold in the sliced strawberries.

  6. Mold the dough into rounds and place on a baking sheet.

  7. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

  8. Serve with additional sliced strawberries on top!
