How To Make Vegan Mango Sorbet

Refreshing and fruity vegan sorbet made with ripe mangoes.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 tbsp lime juice

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar and water.

  2. Heat over medium-high heat until sugar dissolves and mixture comes to a boil.

  3. Reduce heat and let simmer for 5 minutes.

  4. Remove from heat and let cool.

  5. In a blender, puree chopped mangoes until smooth.

  6. Add sugar syrup and lime juice, and blend again.

  7. Pour mixture into a container, cover with plastic wrap and freeze for 4 hours or overnight.

  8. Scoop and serve.
